China Hotel-Restaurant Lotus in Plettenberg

I can't understand the good reviews. The food we picked up was in the bottom drawer. The duck consisted only of fat, the sauce tasted like tomato paste, vegetables were totally mushy, rice was completely tasteless, spring rolls muddy and tasted nothing at night. We threw almost everything in the bin ... I'll never leave a cent in the shop again. It's a shame, because the shop used to be really good

I had an overnight stay with breakfast here with my girlfriend. The room is functional, clean and suitable for the price. The breakfast surprised us positively. For a small price, we got a wide range of pastries, fresh fruit, yoghurt / muesli as well as juices and hot drinks. The service was very friendly and courteous. We would stay here again anytime!

As always totally delicious ... I hope that the restaurant will remain part of the city of Plettenberg for many years to come.

Good and clean rooms, with decent WiFi. The parking lot is in front of the hotel. Even if the restaurant is closed Mon-Tue, you can have cooked for you by arrangement. (very tasty and freshly prepared) The breakfast is plentiful and tasty.
